Philip H Brown, LCSW
served for 15 years as a State Certified EMT and EMS Instructor before he retired from active service. He "ran"
with the Ambulance services in both Washington and Windsor, Connecticut. He Instructed EMT's in Litchfield County, CT
and assisted teaching EMT's at Quinebaug Valley Community College, in Danielson, CT and Paramedics at American Ambulance
in Norwich, CT. He has worked with Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Officers, both active and retired, as well as
Correctional Officers, EMT's and Fire/Rescue Personnel. He holds current certification in the FEMA ICS and NIMS as well
as EMS Operations at Multiple Causality Incidents and EOC's Role in Community Preparedness, Response and Recovery Activities.
He is a member of the State's CTRP Team.
Doreen O. Muller-Brown, LCSW was one of the founding directors of
the UCONN Rape Crisis Center at the University's Women's Center which later became the Rape Crisis facility for Windham
County. She has also worked with Law Enforcement Officers and Correctional Officers. She trained and became certified to Disaster
and Mental Health Services for the American Red Cross after Hurricane Katrina.
